James Garner

As a seasoned leader in the construction industry with a career spanning over two decades, I am an experienced coach focused on bringing real world project experience to my coaching group.  I am a Quantity Surveyor in a Chartered Member of RICS since 2002 and an elected a Fellow in RICS Black Book.   I havw delivered value on high-profile projects including those for Imperial College and Oxford University Colleges. At Gleeds, I progressed from sector lead to Head of Insights and Analytics, and I now serves as Head of AI and Data, spearheading the global integration of data, business intelligence, and AI into project delivery.

As Founder of ProjectFlux.ai and Chair of the Project Data Analytics Taskforce, I drive industry-wide collaboration to harness AI for better project outcomes. I’m a regular adviser to leading institutions—including PMI, APM, and RICS—on the critical role AI and analytics play in transforming strategy, risk management, and delivery across the built environment.  Recognised among the Top 100 People in Data 2023 by Data IQ, I am committed to upskilling the profession and advancing responsible, impactful use of AI and data in construction.
