One of the most ambitious projects currently under AtkinsRéalis’ stewardship is the New Murabba in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Appointed to masterplan what will be the world’s largest modern downtown, AtkinsRéalis is transforming the cityscape into a futuristic urban hub. This project is poised to redefine urban living with its sustainable design, advanced infrastructure, and a focus on community well-being.

Similarly, the Historic Jeddah project demonstrates AtkinsRéalis’ ability to blend modernity with heritage. The Company is providing program management consultancy services contract for this endeavor. The goal is to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Jeddah while integrating cutting-edge amenities, ensuring that the historic charm of the city is not only maintained but enhanced.

A Park of Regal Proportions

Another testament to AtkinsRéalis’ expertise is the King Salman Park project. This massive undertaking involves providing project and cost management services, along with engineering, procurement, and construction services for the park’s district cooling plant, which will have an ultimate capacity of 60 000 Tonnes of Refrigeration. This project not only aims to create a green oasis in the heart of Riyadh but also to incorporate cutting-edge technology to ensure sustainable and efficient cooling.

And looking to the future and its commitment to growing and nurturing local talent Murray Ross, Regional Director of Project Delivery & Lead of Technical Excellence reflected on the  organization achievement of establishing a 12-month Saudi Graduate Development Program with over 80 Saudi graduates joining.  “It’s incredible to see the next generation of professionals coming through, we are delighted to be providing them with the opportunities, skills and training to succeed”.
