Premier, a comprehensive architectural design and development firm encompassing architecture, design, procurement, project management, and development services, has announced the promotion of Derek Weaver to Vice President of Project Management and Estimating.
Weaver, who has served as Premier’s Director of Project Management for the past two and a half years, will now lead a team of 26 Project Managers and Estimators.
In this expanded role, Weaver’s primary focus will be overseeing the execution of Premier’s diverse portfolio, encompassing ground-up new builds, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects across hospitality, multi-family residential, student housing, and mixed-use developments.

A seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience, Weaver brings a wealth of technical project management expertise to his new position. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler.
